Terms of Service
Last updated: August 14, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of familyprotect.in and the FamilyProtect waitlist and related services (together, the “Service”), operated by FamilyProtect (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
FamilyProtect is currently in a pre-launch, early-access stage. The Service today consists of our marketing site and waitlist. These Terms will be expanded before we launch the full document-organization product.
1. About the Service
FamilyProtect is building a service to help families organize records of their insurance policies, PPF/EPF and other provident fund accounts, bank accounts, demat and mutual fund investments, lockers, property, and private agreements, so that information can be located and handed over to a trusted contact in an emergency. Joining our waitlist reserves your place in line for early access; it does not create a subscription or purchase of the full product.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Waitlist and referral program
- Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the Service, at a specific time, or at all. We may prioritize onboarding at our discretion.
- Our referral program lets waitlist members share a personal referral link. We may use referral activity to determine onboarding order, but referrals do not guarantee access and we may change, limit, or end the referral program at any time.
- Any pricing information shown on the Site (for example, “free while in beta” or early-bird rates) is indicative and may change before general availability.
4. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information when using the Service.
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms.
- Not attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying systems.
5. Not financial, legal, or professional advice
FamilyProtect helps you organize information about your existing financial and legal accounts and documents. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, insurance, or estate planning advice, and nothing on the Site or in the Service should be treated as such. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for decisions you make about your family's finances and documents. Consult a qualified professional for advice specific to your situation.
6. Intellectual property
The Site, including its design, text, graphics, and the FamilyProtect name and logo, is owned by FamilyProtect or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written consent.
7. Service “as is”
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times, particularly during this early-access stage.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FamilyProtect and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the amount you have paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may modify or discontinue any part of the Service, and may update these Terms from time to time as the Service evolves. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify waitlist members by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
You may stop using the Service, or ask to be removed from the waitlist, at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if we believe you have violated these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
12. Contact us
